For those closest to me it’s no secret I have a fascination with Wim Hof and believe what he teaches could benefit a lot of people, including athletes and MMA fighters. The man has set over 20 world records for being able to withstand extreme temperatures. He’s ran a marathon in the desert without water and hiked Mt. Everest in just a pair of shorts. He once got lost swimming under a sheet of ice because his retinas apparently froze and he lived to tell the tale.
Much of his method has to do with certain breathing methods and exposure to cold temperatures. The Wim Hof Method has similarities to certain forms of yoga and pranayama breathing methods and Wim has been able to tap deep into the central nervous system and control aspects of human physiology previously thought impossible.
